Recently I bought an UG dial on Ebay, but I don't know if is original or a redial. Also, I want to know if someone have this same dial, to check the case that needs. The movement is an 218-2, an according to this movement ( with date) I think that is not the original movement. Kind regards to all.

 

UG did some very unique dials, this one appears genuine and original, unfortunately it likely came from a melted 18K case.

Yes, I think that it happened to this watch, at least the dial is saved.

Yes, if I can identify how the watch was I ll be happy to find the pieces to make one watch that resembles the original.

 

It is original and very nice!! love the centrale golden texture! I hope you'll find a case that fits for it

 

Cool dial, a bit far gone for my taste. I can handle more patina on "casual" dials but I find myself less forgiving on "dress" dials. The mvmt looks a bit nackered, hope it's not a basket case. I just got hammered on a brutal overhaul of a 218-2. Anyhow good luck with the project, come back with pics
