Hi guys, For your consideration is a really rare chronograph I purchased from a well known French collector. This watch is a Chronofix Type 222, that was produced before the Type 20 specification had been issued by the French government. The previous owner of the watch had it very recently serviced and cleaned since it was in bad condition. The hands had been re-lumed in this process, and if you notice closely in the hour hand, there is a slight loss of lume plots. The case is chrome based; it's hard to find mint chrome cases... so just FYI. The movement is a valjoux 22 with an added flyback. The watch was, as stated, serviced recently, and functions perfectly. Chronograph resets to 0 without issues. On the caseback, you will see the 3 stars of Cetehor. The cathedral style handset, from my understanding, is correct based on the last image I provide below -- a specification document for these watches that I found in conversation with other French collectors.
