I was told:
Hell is where the British are the cooks, the French take care of the invitation arrangements, the Swedes choose the wine, the Germans decorate the room, the Dutch make music and the Italians organize the entire service .

The oversized silver Longines , issued by the MoD in the early 40's, is the rarest one by far. Milsubs are plenty, you just need money. Which inventory number was the Longines ?

Feast your eyes.

Whoever printed those flags and whoever put them on the table (in the Royal Automobile Club?) should be taken outside and shot. (For the USA think about a flag with 48 stars and 12 stripes.)

I think they’re part of the map. Some military significance, London divided into military districts or somesuch.

Sorry, I didn’t catch it.
I really liked the “big Indian” Longines. I believe there were two in total. 1949 issue from memory.

Well all those nationalities, and more, were in attendance. Quite a few could not get visas as we’ve “taken back control” of our borders.
Another “benefit” of Brexit, we are just so stupid at times.

You mean two Big Indians at the get together? There are more than two known in existence today for sure.

I would love to get a very old Longines watch.
It's a timeless piece and especially the case is different to the modern type watches. Like those pushers, too.

Any idea where to find?
