·Up for sale is a 1940's zenith triple register chronograph.
A beautiful 100% factory original watch from the 40's. The part used to build this watch was likely bought from UG and martell, and finished in at the zenith factory. Some would claim Zenith finished their pieced with a higher level of detail.
In the UG bible by Sala there are long descriptions about the collaboration between Zenith and Universal Genevè at that time. And its likeliness is uncanny to the UG compax modell.
I have scoured the internett for a similar zenith but the closest I get is the uni compax models. This is a rare bird you would most likely never find again.
Size: With its 33.5 mm it wears larger due to its thick size.
Dial and Hands : Beautifull blue steal hands with original lume.
Radium numbers
Clean dial with patina. Some discolor and loss at the edge of the tachy scale.
Movement: Clean movement ZENITH 122. Watch runs and all functions work properly. The chrono resets to 59 and not 00.
The watch was bought from an old watchmakers estate before the previous owner, who had it cleaned before selling it to me.
This is a special watch with a lot of history. Hopeing it will go to a good home in the Omega family.
