As the saying goes "last in, first out" Selling as a grail watch has come up that I would like to buy. In 1995 Omega released this watch in a limited run of 999 pieces 2 years before the missions case Apollo 13, which had luminova rather than tritium on the markers. It was the first watch from Omega to ever feature a mission patch in the 9 o clock sub dial. It was not repeated in the single Missions issue watches, the rest were. This particular example is in great shape and running great. It does show very slight scratches but nothing major. I have opted to leave these as they are. I have polished the plexi a little. It runs the cal 861 manual wind, the chrono starts, stops and resets perfect and the wind is very smooth. These are very sought after by collectors and if you have been following prices over the last few years you will have seen the prices have nearly doubled in value. The bracelet is the original 1479/812. Its Limited edition number is 6XX/999 - PHOTOS OF CASE BACK TO BE UPLOADED. Please note: I will also clean the watch as I hate any dirt before it is sent. It comes complete with the following: Original outer white box Inner watch box which is black and has 'Apollo XIII' embossed in to it and unique to this watch.
