For sale is a rare and beautiful 1952 Honeycomb Omega Constellation 2648 Caliber 352 18k in Pink Gold. Serial - 12xxxx Case - 2648 Movement - 352. The 2648's were the first bumper constellations. The pink gold case and guilloche dial combination is a marvel to behold in the metal. The honeycomb dial is in near perfect shape with a very light minimal patina. The quadrant crosshair silvered outer portioned dial with blue steel seconds hand and solid rose gold dagger minute and hour hands are in excellent condition. I've heard the crown may or may not be be a replacement. Comes with genuine Keleran small croc strap and original Omega Buckle. Sharp case, strong bezel, lugs reminiscent to the earlier 2500 centenaries that pre-dated them. Mint case back. More info at Desmond's Blog about these early Constellations http://users.tpg.com.au/mondodec//Bluesteel SC.pdf I do not know the service history but the watch runs great with a few gentle shakes, the bumper action feels very smooth and refined. The watch has remained in the safe since the day I received it, a true safe queen. Price is $4350 shipped.
Mike, I feel bad selling it but it's for the greater good. My wife and I are funding our new music/arts school..
