For your consideration here is the rare and beautiful stainless steal case Lemania with special date complication
The watch is powered with rare Lemania cal 2990/DS27 which is a high grade caliber used as the base for Lemania/Omega chronographs.
The special feature is the quick set date button at two a clock which was very unusual for watches during 40s. Details about the movement can be found here. (Note the unusual regulator with catch device for hairspring)

The watch is freshly serviced by my watchmaker and works great.

Ref: 227/1
Movement: Cal 2990/DS27 manual wind with quick date set. Nice and clean. serviced June 2022. Movement nr 302275 dating this watch to ca 1943/44
Crystal: Original crystal with date magnifier
Case: Stainless steel, claw lugs design, screw in type case, in nice condition. No dings or big scratches. Diameter 34.2 mm without the crown.
Dial: White dial in original aged condition
Hands: Original rose gold dauphin style
Crown: Not signed. Don't know if it's original or replaced. Not all watches had signed crowns during 40s
Strap: New vintage style, brown leather
Function: Keeping time and winds smoothly.
Price : Now 650 (790) ( 850 )( 950) USD/EUR
