Have you ever heard a fellow WIS say to you " Pseudo Randomly Assigned Alphanumeric Identifier " when describing a random serial ? Well ! It happen to me & I was like
" What......????? '
Since the G series is still running simultaneously with the Random or Scrambled serial since the 2nd half of 2010 , tell me which one (s) of the following examples provided below is a Random Serial , which one is G Serial & which is a fake serial
G [emoji638] [emoji637] [emoji640] [emoji638] [emoji643] [emoji646]
[emoji646] [emoji646] [emoji646] [emoji646] G [emoji637] [emoji647]
G [emoji646] [emoji637] [emoji637] [emoji642] [emoji642] [emoji642] [emoji646]
[emoji642] [emoji638] [emoji639] G [emoji644] [emoji641] [emoji644] [emoji646]
[emoji646] [emoji637] [emoji641] [emoji643] [emoji638] [emoji641] [emoji647] G
Random Serial with always have 8 characters as opposed to G+6
It's always advantageous to the Seller who may quote a higher price when the watch could lying on the shelf since 2012 instead of 2017 ! Is it the consumers right to know when lockdown date of manufacture of the watch ? Well , it's Rolex 's right not to tell you too ! You can only make a guess but the only people who really know when exactly the watch was produced are the elves at the Rolex factory !
A lot of Newbies would prefer the Random serial rather than the G or V series numbering system when purchasing a model , I guess it would bother me too !
So Random Serial means 10 numerals + 26 letters of the alphabets in each and every 8 combinations will give you 2 821 109 907 456 possibilities
About 800 000 Rolex watches are produced annually so theoretically speaking , the random serial will run
until the year 3 528 398 AD !
I'll put it in another perspective[emoji68] It's the timeline of Human Evolution from Lucy the famous Australopethicus Afarensis to Scarlet Johannson the famous Homo Sapien Actress....
