    Bit more about it and we need to see the inside case back and movement.

    One line one picture "what is it" doesn't help.

    What part of NZ are you in. On the South Island with work at the moment...

    Hey Standy I'm in Kaiapoi, Christchurch.

    I was sent the picture and could not find anything from hrs of google fun. Someone is saying its a 1908 piece but nothing comes up for me in that era.
    I've now got the item. The face measures 25mm, the movement doesn't seem to fit the case 100%, so I'm a bit baffled by it, here are some more pics I took tonight:

    Few hours from Christchurch in bustling Reefton.

    Looks a recased pocket watch. ( @JimInOz may know a bit from the movement. )

    Serial number puts it a s early 1920s

    1923 = 6 mil.
    1916 = 5 mil.
