    Is "pre-Railmaster" the new pre-Carrera?

Worth noting that those two listings offer the same watch, same photos - but the eBay listing is from upstate New York, and the Chronocentric post is from Berlin.

Given the tagged photo in the eBay listing and the feedback numbers, I think the Chronotrader post is a scam. The watch itself, I've no idea of its originality

Strange indeed. I just posted a response on CT to let people know. CT is usually quick to smoke out scams.

There are legit seamasters that look like this as far as I know, but they're 2996 references if I'm not mistaken.

I sent a message to the Ebay listing:
Hello, The same watch listed by you on Ebay is being offered on a private watch forum and is being represented as being in Berlin Germany. Same pictures. Care to comment?

    I will post the response.

To me it looks as if the dial belongs to 2990-1. Maybe it's been transplanted into the wrong case?

On the other hand, the inside caseback does look as if something's had a bite of it, so if it is a homebrew it would be a strange case to use.

Plus there are all sorts of late 1950s Omega variations that continue to surprise me, so it's possible I'm wildly off the mark ;)

    I asked this in return;

Sorry, I am confused. Is the watch yours? Where is the watch? Are you in control of both listings? How do you intend on handling these two offerings?
    Please explain further?

The seller is based in Poland.
The watch will be shipped or collected from Berlin.
The watch is located in Syracuse NY.

The seller has sold 10 coins and one watch.

    All the above from eBay.

BTW, I have no interest in this watch. I just love to mess with scammers. If this guy is not a scammer, he deserves to be messed with for his multiple listings.

I don't know a lot about either the Railmaster or Seamaster. It does seem strange to be listed as a Railmaster when Seamaster is the only marking...

As requested over on CT, the seller has yet to post a verified photo. I think this is looking like a scam on both ends thru the same
    seller. Caution!
