So I picked this one up a couple of days ago. I was surprised at how smooth the chrono operation was - better in my subjective opinion than my modern EP. If this is representative, I'm a fan. However, the dial though a cult classic still has not grown on me (the font on the arabic numerals on the dial is really bugging me). Do all the Rainbows share the same movement?
The Rainbow Flyback is a caliber 405. I believe the others in the Rainbow line (which do not share that complication) are caliber 400. If you like the flyback function but not the color, there is a black-dialled version.
