Well is it a nice thing for sure but the use of white gold means it looks pretty much the same as the steel version with the added drawback of being a softer metal and more prone to scratches. Unless I am missing something it looks, other than the inscriptions on the caseback identical to the steel 49mm model.

It is the same except for the LE in white gold. Its not something i would buy personally for the added cost. Just because its LE doesnt mean its worth more thats for sure.

If it were my money I was spending, I'd buy yours.

Exactly! I love the Railmaster but not in 49mm and white gold.

Personally I wouldn't mind the smaller version in white gold or even palladium. The larger one is just to big. But that's just me.

Wow that is one nice gift. Is that the 36mm? I thought when I got mine that I had to have the 39mm but now I am not so sure, it is all dial and I think the 36mm would work fine on a normal wrist. My 39mm:

God only knows what the 49mm would look like on my 7.25" wrist...

I was surprised as well. He knows i am into watches. Mine is the 39mm. The 49mm would be a clock on my wrist, its too large for me.

Doesn't this belong around the neck of Flavor Flav?

Mine is 36 mm. Just right for my 6.5 inch wrist. Love the simplicity of the Railmaster.:)
