is this a poor rep or is this Omega's way of saying this is an aftermarket part? I've been stumbling around on eBay and the internet trying to Learn as much as I can about these watches and this one stumped me. I also find it interesting that they double designate this a 2914-6. Any insight much appreciated.
Modern replacement have the extra zero much like the newer case backs have it as 145.0022 vs 145.022 original engravings
I might be wrong, so wait for a better opinion, but I believe the extra 0 denotes a service replacement. The text also appears to be laser etched, not stamped. Edit: George beat me to it.
