I love both the "modern" and vintage Railmasters and I currently own a 39mm version. It came with the steel bracelet which is super comfortable, but IMHO the AQ clasp is the weak link in the chain. Nonetheless, this watch (both the vintage and modern versions) look great on both bracelets AND straps (as do many iconic watches of course!), but I'd love to see how other RM owners have done to dress up their "Railies". I bought this vintage style heavy leather strap from Clockwork Synergy and it really shows off the wonderful case design and dial... I'd love to see what others have done so I can get some ideas!
Check out this feed. Lots of great pics of railmasters on a variety of straps/bracelets. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/aqua-terra-railmaster-photo-thread-535524.html
Yes, saw that one...quite popular...however, there are way too many non-RM AT's on there and NO vintage RM's....so.... "INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!"
I have got the exact same watch. One question, when wearing it on bracelet, is the buckle centred on the underside of your wrist or slightly slanted to your thumb side? Anyway, here is mine on an old Breitling light brown strap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes...the Railmaster looks equally good on the bracelet as well: I adjusted the links (including the 1/2 link) such that the clasp is centered on the wrist.: It's a bit tedious, but I'm pretty handy with my link pin tool and once you get it perfect, you're done ("set it and forget it"). Thanks for posting...anyone else?
Thank you!.....I agree... I think this type of Vintage leather strap really highlights the case design of the Railmaster's clean, uncomplicated dial. Althgouh, there are very few watches that wouldn't look good on such a strap!
