No great magnification, but it looks like Heuer might have gone a different route in how the dial was made? This is a late 1940's 2447, with later lume on the hands and the chrono hand from a Zenith El Primero (by original owner).

It looks like the Heuer-logo is "printed" with the same techniques as the rest of the dial. Reason for EP, and other manufacturers as well, is that by printing the logo in another step makes it easy to adjust to another brand. I have seen similar dials like mine on Zenith & Certinas as well. EP sold them the movements. Who actually made and sold the cases I´m not familiar with. The case is also identical on a lot of chronographs from that era.

I think suppliers like Singer made dials for several brands like Omega and Rolex. Probably some other companies as well. I will look at my dials reversed side during upcoming service.

Correct - and many companies used multiple dial makers - Singer, Beyeler, and Lemrich were all Rolex dial suppliers.
