·Usually need a stain to view fungus properly, such as lactophenol blue. And if it were a mold-form fungus it is best viewed under a negative pressure hood to minimize risk of inhalation. fwiw

·I would try to remove it if you could- let it sit under the UV for a while and let it cook. The lume on that one is really pretty- you’ll be pressed to find one in that condition again for cheap money.
