Dear Paneristi.

A watch dealer and good friend of mine received this lovely Panerai in a trade. We tried to look online for some clues regarding this timpepiece and its lovely dial, but to no avail.
From the looks of it, the dial was custom made from a sterling silver blank, beautifully depicting the Joker’s engraved portrait.

The watch’s originality has been confirmed by an independent watch company in Switzerland: (Serial numbers, case reference, movement etc…)

We haven’t found anything indicative of the joker being some sort of limited edition issued by the brand, just like the Chinese year dials. Therefore, I’m inclined to believe that the dial was probably custom made from an independent workshop perhaps? Like a Bamford for Panerai?

I’d love to hear what the lovely community thinks about this one. Was this produced by Panerai or an independent workshop?

Thank you for looking. 😀

There is no way someone would buy that if they wanted a Panerai. That’s a homage, at best.

source a dial and put it back in. As is, nearly worthless, to me, even if I can verify case, movement and hands are original.

If that’s a legit Pam movement I would be surprised.

considering thier movement costs about 50 dollars and they are extremely easy to fake…
