Another thing, would you pay USD 200 without a movement shot?

The fonts look good. Could be a service replacement dial though - what caliber and reference is it?

Looks like a 60's watch, or a 50's model with a replacement dial. Definitely a replacement crown. Odds are on a late 60's specimen because of the gold plating on the underside of the lugs. If so, then it's probably a decent movement from the 55x or 50x series which would make it worth the gamble. Insist on a return period sufficient to have your watchmaker pop it open. Even if it's a 70's watch it's still worth $200 if the insides are in good condition.

Is the plating flaking off at the tips of the lugs? If it is, that would negate the above statement and I'd pass.

There is no Automatic on the dial, so it could be a 600 manual ?

Doh! That's the second time I've done that in as many weeks.

I thought it could be manual as well, but the seller knows *nothing* about the watch. At 200 I thought it could be worth the risk especially when you consider it's nearly impossible to find anything that's not redialed if you are anywhere below the Equador line. Pulling the trigger. Let's hope for the best. Thanks for your input!

Wrote to the seller who replied with two more shots (no movement, though). It's definitely Cal. 600. Considering it came to me for USD200, and it does include an original Omega buckle, it's not so bad, eh? Thanks for all your input again. When she arrives I'll take and post some movement shots. ::popcorn::

Well bought. Just get the correct Omega crown and you're in business.

The logo buckle is a nice touch,
