·... for the UG gurus on here. Did Universal Geneve ever make a sterile dial dress watch? I'm trying to work out if this is correct or if it's an old re-dial. Here's the photos and thanks in advance ...

·in the UG ebay thread someone else just posted an "anon" rectangular UG, although I assume it's a redial. I tend to think that UG would not release unbranded dials, but I am not an expert, especially not on 3 handers, especially not on rectangular, and especially not on black dials !! Its a sub sub sub specialty. 😀
But I do have a gilt black dial one myself, this is the only pic I have on hand, can try to post something clearer later, I think mine has swiss on the bottom but I can't remember for sure.......

I like it. The case is 18ct, fully stamped, 1934 (I think, I saw so many this afternoon that I might have to double check that). The dial is pure wabi in person ... but there didn't seem to be even a hint of a name on the dial. I'm trying to decide if I like it at £600 ... which is where I think it will be.
