I've just acquired a lecoultre memovox, one which I think is well known to the forum through previous owners. Pictures to follow, but in the meanwhile, my question is.... am I allowed to call this my first jlc, what with it not having the j? Thanks....
You're allowed to call it anything you want. Just don't call it a Vacheron & Constantin, like many eBay sellers do. That would be incorrect. It's a US market watch likely with a US made case (unless it is steel or 18K -- then it would likely be a Swiss case). The movement was made in the Jaeger-LeCoultre factory in LeSentier, same as any other Jaeger-LeCoultre watch. The only difference is the name on the movement. Hope this helps, gatorcpa
