A couple of years ago I bought a blue Omega Isofrane of Ebay. I planned to wear it with my Seamaster 300.

The Isofrane is 20 mm in width and came without buckle or keepers. It has no Omega markings on it.
Are there any more knowledgeable member that know a little bit more about this band? Is it original? What model was this for?

I got a new Omega buckle and a set of new blue keepers from Isofrane. In order to uses this band with the new buckle I would have to cut a little bit from the rubber at the pin, since the modern buckle tongue is not exactly the same size. I marked this issue in the following photo.

If this is a original vintage Omega band I would hesitate to cut it apart. I am looking forward to your opinions. Thanks for your feedback!

It looks like the original Omega Iso based on the size of the cut out for the tang. It should be easy enough to research that based on the number on the strap.

I would definitely not cut it or wear it. 1970s rubber is best for presentation and photos, not strength or reliability.

Finding an original buckle will be tough, but keep looking or sell as is and get a new iso for wearing?

Or get a jeweller to cut down the new buckle tang?

If this band is not known for strength or reliabiliy, I better won‘t wear it. Cutting the buckle would be the better anyway... I will look out for an original buckle and might buy a new Isofrane. Thanks for stopping me.
