    Hey guys,

I picked up this Admiralty on eBay. The price was particularly good so I decided to take a chance. I don't have it yet but I was wanting to ask the experts about the crown. It is very different than any other Admiralty crown I have seen and am wondering it is a variant, a replacement, or indicative of something more concerning like it being a copy. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Looks like the type of crown often seen on Constellations, and too small for the crown-guard of that watch. Perhaps it was just something a watchmaker had at hand as a replacement.

Very nice watch, BTW, and I'm sure you will be able to replace the crown if need be.

It's just an incorrect replacement crown.

The correct crown may still be available but it will take some tracking down to find one.

Cousinsuk had them a couple of years ago.

I am not sure, but it may be 069ST42057

    Second hand is also incorrect.

Thanks gentlemen! Calling on Archer! Is this something that you would be able find parts for and install?

Mine's a 135.015 as well and nice to see that this one has the correct stretch bracelet and end links as the 563 end links for this model are hard to find. My notes also say 069ST42057 for the crown and mine also came with an incorrect crown - seems to be common with these. Unfortunately, as Jim says, it might take some time to track one down although it seems likely that Al can get one if he's servicing your watch.

The second hand might be more troublesome so it is probably best to use a watchmaker with an Omega account, such as Al, for the service because you'll struggle to find this as well.

    Here's mine.
