Clearly this is a service dial. But I usually see 'Swiss Made' instead of 'T Swiss Made T' on the service dial. I am pretty sure the dial is genuine but would like to learn more if anyone here knows. Btw, it is a 861. Thanks, Frank[IMG]

That looks like a tritium dial to me. Probably from the 145.022-74 reference or beyond since I don't see a step but that could just be the picture. I believe 861 service dials are superluminova, not tritium and therefore have no T's at the bottom.

What's the model of the watch. Why do you think it is a service dial?

Dial from the 1990s. I have the same dial on my 3572.50.

It is a 'fully serviced' 861 watch. It does not have the dropped r but has the t.

That was my thought also. Pre 1998 Tritium dial.

It looks like a regular production dial. If your using Speedmaster101 for this it doesn't talk or mention watches made post 1980. There are a few dials that are not mentioned there.

If this watch was a 72 then yes it's a replacement dial and could have been replaced by Omega in the mid 90's.

Now that I'm home I can see in MWO that this dial looks like an original "short S" dial used from 1991-1997:

Oh and the accented E in TACHYMETRE puts the bezel in 95 or later, so if the watch is a 345.0022 from 95-97, the dial, bezel, and hands could all be original to it.

"Serviced" doesn't necessarily mean the dial was replaced.

If it's a 861 then it's the bezel that is the service replacement.

It is great that it can be determined to be 91-97 production. Thanks everyone!

Hands could be too. But it's all meaningless without knowing the model.

Yup, the difference between the service and original bezels from 1995+ seems to be the dot over the 190. Originals from that era had the dot directly over the 1 in the 190, while the service (originals from 2004 on) have the dot between the 1 and 9 in 190 as shown in the O.P. I think the dial is original, but the bezel is a service replacement.

You mean like this? An 861 from '96.

Exactly, you can see the dot directly over the 1 in 190 in contrast to the OP.

Loading a pic shows speedmaster. It is the same dial as the one from @Saber333
