I would like to know that the hands that have come off a watch with an eta 2428 movement, can they fit on another watch that also has an eta 2428 movement?

Don't mix it up with the ubiquitous ETA 2824-2

 

The diameter of the posts will be fine, but the lengths of the hands may be an issue depending on the style of the dial and case diameter.
