Apparently, i am some kind of weird mutant that has giant hands and small wrists. I can't get my sized SMP bracelet over my hand without also opening up the dive extension.

My question is, is there any downside to doing this? Clearly the main clasp is designed to be done and undone many times...what about the dive extension?

I'm like you, except my hands are average but my wrist is small. I don't see any downside at all and if it wears out, I'll replace it!

...I should probably add, its titanium. Does ti wear out faster than steel?

That is one darn good question. The tensile strength of titanium (alloy?) is higher than steel but I think we're looking at shear strength.

    I got nothing, sorry. :-\

I also have to open the dive extension to get the watch over my hand. Can't see that it will harm the bracelet in any way.

If it does get loose, they can be tightened pretty easily...I do this often.

Ok, thanks...I actually had to take another half link out just now, so the only way this thing is getting over my hand without opening the dive extension is if I cut off my pinky.
