Guys can you tell me if a Cal 354 17 jewel movement would have been in a chronometer watch circa 1952 / 1954
Movement serial number is 13911150 so I believe around that time period

    All help appreciated

    Cheers Tony

Based on some quick research these did come with chronometer ratings during that time period.

It should say "Adjusted five (5) positions and temperatures" on the rotor.

Also found in the uncommon Seamaster chronometers. This one of mine has a 354 ticking inside...

I'm looking more at these 50s Omegas - interesting cases and dials.

Here's my only 354 chronometer (Seamaster) - pre service.

Chronometre 354 Seamasters galore. When will we see a picture of yours @Fattony ? That is what questions here cost... Pics.

...No one is able to tell whether or not it was a good deal without seeing the watch.

In fact, we all have different watches but as this is a forum for Omegas, you'd expect someone here to have one like yours.

As the guys say, pictures are needed, material and size (size might be important here...). Your watch could be worth half to ten times the amount you paid.

    Cheers, Chris

Those green lume dots don't look good on any vintage watch :(
The S in Seamaster is another tell.
