I'm hoping owners of the ref. 168.023 166.032 Seamaster with a cal. 750 movement can help answer a question for me.

The watch I own is able to set the date via a quickset function when I pull the crown out all the way.

My original belief was that I should be able to adjust the day forward by rotating the crown when pulled out, but, for my example, that is not the case.

Is the cal. 750 supposed to have a quickset function for the day or is it a quickset for the date-only?

    I've read conflicting reports online...

Thanks in advance for your help!

My understanding is that the day is set to the hands. So you have to go through midnight to advance it.

    Only day is quickset.

Date only - day requires advancing the hands.
