·I don’t believe that’s correct. I think the DD movement has a wider pinion. Someone please fact check me on this.

·I have heard the same thing as @southtexas, but that's not from first-hand experience. I imagine you've thought of this already, but do you have a watchmaker you can ask? I'm sure mine would know.
