Are wideboy hands interchangeable 1803 v 1601 / 1603 ?

I don’t believe that’s correct. I think the DD movement has a wider pinion. Someone please fact check me on this.

I have heard the same thing as @southtexas, but that's not from first-hand experience. I imagine you've thought of this already, but do you have a watchmaker you can ask? I'm sure mine would know.

I’ve asked my usual great watchmaker who isn’t certain, as it’s a discrete query for a Longines and Omega watchmaker that I’ve frequented ... thought to check in with Rolex collectors here who may know a thing or two, or who may know a watchmaker who knows a thing or two about this
