Since I have not had this range in my hands I am hoping an owner could help me out.
Compared to the speedmaster pro 311.30.42.30.01.005, how does the 3592.50 with display back fit on the wrist?
The only display back I have worn is the FOIS and I didn't care how it stood higher on my wrist compared to the modern moonwatch. The speedmaster pro sits flatter for me than the FOIS.
Anyone who owns both care to compare for me. I am basically shopping the 3592.50 and the 311.30.42.30.01.005.
    Thanks in advance

Are you in a location where you can visit a boutique or authorised dealer, and try a few on? Can there really be enough difference in thickness, one Speedmaster to another, to make a difference? The size of your wrist might be a factor in deciding what looks best on you. I have a 345,0808, but no basis for comparing it with other references. But I fail to see how a sapphire back could affect how high it sits on the wrist.

I will be in Manhattan in a couple of weeks but not sure where I could see a 3592.50 but I would love to. If anyone has ideas on where to look for the 3592.50 in NYC pls let me know. I usually just hit the normal ADs and boutiques.
I think the part of the reason I didn't like the FOIS is the slightly reduced dimensions. It just seemed higher on the wrist compared to the wider normal speedmaster pro (which fits very well).
My wrist is 6.75 and very flat so I can wear up to 49 lug to lug with no overhang.

Brown trout. San Juan river in NW New Mexico. I have been spending at least a week on that river for the last 25 or more years. Great river to fly fish for large trout with tiny flys and light tippets. I will be there in early September with my father, brother and GF. time to start tying flys.

My wrist is exactly the same as yours. I think the height is a non-issue. Having worn both references and owning a 3592.50, the bigger issue IMHO is the heft of the modern bracelet.

Thank you very much! I am watching your listings daily :)
I have been going back and forth btwn a nice example of a 3592.50 and a new speedmaster pro. I think I have finally made the final decision.
Need to sell of a couple more watches so I will be ready to pounce once the right one appears.

I can measure my Speedy Tuesday vs 3572 vs the 3573 later with digital calipers, but to my best recollection the difference in minimal - talking tenths of a mm at most.
The weight difference between them when mounted on a strap is ever so slightly noticeable and there's a definite difference in the watch height weights between H/Steel, H/Sapphire, and Sapphire/Sapphire, but as @WatchVaultNYC said above the bracelet weight is the biggest discrepancy. The 1479 bracelet on the 3592 is very light, almost wears more like a mesh bracelet, while the modern Speedy bracelets are tanks.

So did the comparison, and results were not fully expected.
    3572 - 13.6mm Height, 63 gram weight
    3573 - 13.5mm Height, 71 gram weight
Speedy Tuesday - 14.5mm Height, 65 gram weight

Just observing the physical differences, the caseback on the Speedy Tuesday seems a bit thicker in overall profile than either the 3572 or 3573 casebacks, and the hesailte crystal is much thicker and more pronounced than the 3572. Whether it's by design or age (ie the 3572s crystal is over 20 years old, so maybe it's been polished down a bunch) I cannot say, but it's noticeable.

I can now answer my own questions as I just received an extremely nice 3952.50 on a 1479 bracelet. Just what I wanted and very comfortable to wear. Looking forward to adjusting the bracelet a bit tonight and get some photos. Thank you to everyone for the help.

Would be great if you may measure the height of it. :)
