Hello all, I am very curious about watch trade shows and wondering if anyone has experience with these. I live in the Tri-State area and it's roughly a 30 min ride to NYC. I would love to know more information , Are they exclusive to dealers? Are legitimate dealers there discounting their unpopular models? How often do the events show up? Is it worth waiting and attempting to purchase a watch there before buying online or paying retail? On the surface it seems like the best bet to purchase a watch but I am unfamiliar with the process and hoping someone with more experience can be descriptive with their explanation. Thank you ! Ross
Regardless of where you are planning to buy a watch one must do their homework. Buying from a dealer (unless its a new watch at an unauthorized retailer) or a show is no guarantee you are getting a good deal or a good watch.
