    Hello everybody,

I've recently started getting interested in watches. I was looking for a classical design and thought maybe I could give vintage watches a shot. The problem is that I do not know much about the authenticities of these beautiful mechanical pieces. I came across this Omega cal268 watch (see pictures below) and the guy selling it seems nice, he was answering all my questions as far as he knew. He said that all the parts except the bracelet are original but the dial has been repainted. Apparently this one is from 60s, has been recently serviced and in pretty decent condition.

I wanted to know your opinions if this is a genuine Omega watch and how the prices usually are for models like this. He's selling roughly for 350 USD. Many thanks all!

Edit: Quality of the pictures are probably pretty bad, that's all I got from him.

Genuine however the case is heavily polished and the dial is badly refinished.

    PASS.

Thank you! Yeah the case is indeed overly blinding.

Really a pass, like stated above. You can search and find better examples of those quite easily.
