What does the star meen under the case number?
Anyone who has some info ?

This mark has been confusing Omega collectors for ages. Most of the case manufacturers are well known, but the star and another mark are still a mystery.

Some mention was made of Star Watch Case Co but I don't think that's correct.

 

Gotta love wonky stars, whether inside the caseback or on the dial!

 

Haha okey so only the people who made the cases know! feels like they only made them so it would be "more rare/ collectable" ?

 

So it's not on the watches submitted to time keeping competitions?

 

I don't think the watches were cased, they had a basic case and were in special holders so that the movement could be held in various positions, they looked more like an aluminium block that a watch case.
