Hi, i am seriously in need of help here.

I recently bought a rare 1168 Bracelet (the one that was attached to the Apollo/Soyuz Speedy in 1975) because i like the Oyster Style.
I never had one in hand before and now i am asking myself if i bought a put together here.
The clasp seems correct, but the links are doubtful from my point of view.
The links are folded in the middle and solid at the sides which seems correct comparing it to pictures i found in the net,
but.... the removable links have a screwable pin, exaclty like the Rolex bracelet has.
So is this correct, because i am only used to springloaded pins on the removable links on Omega bracelets.

Hope you can help me out here.

    Thanks and Cheers

    René

I have the correct bracelet. The Omega logo should hang off the end of the clasp as there were two version of 1168. The links are screw and still available via ofrei.

Thanks Kringkily, i think i have the second version with the trapezoid around the Omega Logo.
Now i will have to find some old 633 endlinks with the stamped numbers on the backside.
Also it is periodically not correct i like the combo of my 145.012 with the 1168 bracelet.

You really learn something every day, i honestly didn´t know that Omega had screwin pins
I also didn´t know that they produced a riveted Oyster bracelet. The 1156. I just won the auction on this one

1156Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

We will see how this fits on the Speedy

The one with the logo inside the box did not come on the Apollo Soyuz. The one that did is the logo over the clasp much like older bracelets that came on premoon Speedmasters. The end links were 633 though.

Well from my knowledge the 1168 clasp was used on several different bracelet numbers with the width ranging from 18-22mm size bracelets. I don't know how "rare" these are but people refer this clasp to the Apollo Soyuz all the time although I've seen them vome with 637 end links which isn't fot a speedmaster and another one with many center links which goes on a mark II. Shrug?

I just bought a Certina and it came with an 1168 bracelet (second version with the trapezoid around the Omega Logo) with 506 endlinks. Any ideas on what model this would fit? Or where I could look up the endlink/model fit?

    The 506's will fit a watch I have. :)

Should fit about any 19mm watch.

Fit, yes. Be correct, no. 2998s should always have #6 ends.

I have a 2998-6 with no steel bracelet. In the other hand, I have a 1168/605 bracelet. Would it be a good option for now?

    Hi,

I've just found this one in Italy. It was fitted on a SM 120 with custom endlinks. As far as I know, it's the Soyuz bracelet, mostly because the outer link is 20 mm (and not 18mm). Any opinion ?

Anyway it's a very nice and confortable bracelet !

It is the one fitted to the Soyuz, but was also used on seamasters of the era.

    They are comfortable.

Vintage flat-links bracelets and the 1168 are the only stainless steel bracelets I love to wear. My favorite 69er is on 1168 for several months and I don’t get bored :)

So nice ! My guess is that's not the 18 mm one on your picture ?
