I've noticed the small engraved logo on the case back of some of the watches for sale online. Some have it and some don't. Is it a sign of authenticity or does it mean something else?
I believe one of these has the engraved logo on the back and the otherdoesn't http://www.ebay.com/itm/191287260551?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.com/itm/251555365157?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It's omegas copyright symbol. it was introduced around 2007 I think. something to do with a court case omega had with Costco. Costco were importing grey market watches and selling them cheap so omega put the symbol on all their watches as a way of stopping them. its often mistakenly called an anti-counterfeit symbol.
