    I think you did ok for a watch that cheap, as a daily wearable watch that you can service and then never take off, I'd be happy with it for that amount of money.

    Ash, he did more than OK. The bracelet looks to be a Swiss made Novavit (NSA). The Rado collectors go nuts for these. Here's an NOS one for a Nivada:

    Generics go for less than this, but gold plated are less common than steel, so who knows? I'd say the bracelet alone is $75 to $100, possibly more.

    Take that away, the watch is a bargain.

    Who says you can't get a good deal on eBay anymore?

    image.jpg All fixed and ready to go... This beast is back to life (and I'm 250 £ poorer). Just needs a new strap. The dial is eerily clean for the age (and doesn't look redone). Movement watchmaker found to be 613. Pretty happy with it. Thank you all
