    Dear all,

    (1) Can somebody confirm if the Si14 balance spring has found its way into the 1200M PloProf yet (that would make it calibre 8500B)?

Also (2) Do you think it is planned to also put the "master" anti-magnetic calibre (8500 ? C ?) into the PloProf?

Finally (3) Is there also a difference in Si14 in 9300 A/B? For example: Id I'd buy a Speedmaster '57 from 2013, will it have Si14?

Thank you all for your help!!

    Some answers...

1 - The ref. 224.30.55.21.01.001 shows only the 8500A for the movement that I can see.

2 - No idea what Omega plans to do - you could always ask them.

3 - There is no 9300B, as the 9300 only comes in the A, and it always had the silicon balance.

    Cheers, Al

    Hey Al,

    thank you very much (again)!

So basically this means I hold back from the PloProf at the moment and go for the Speedy '57 first.

BTW I have since sold my AT without Si14 balance spring and switched to the master with blue dial.
