I inherited this watch years ago and am curious about it's identity. Wondering what it might be worth. It currently does not work. If I want to sell it is it worth it to get it serviced or sell it as is? Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Identifying information will be found inside the case back and on the movement.

Dial has been refinished and the box is from a much later watch.

    Not worth getting it serviced.

    Was it from an uncle?

If it's solid gold it'll be worth something. But as a watch, sorry, no, it's been ruined by someone redoing the dial and the hands.

If you're looking to sell, it's not going to be with a fortune, and it's not worth investing any time/money prior to sale.

If possible, have a local watch maker remove the case back to allow you to take a pic of the movement a ref no (inside case back) and stick it in ebay auction if you want to sell.

The box may be worth more than the watch.
