    Hi All,

    I just recently acquired a UG 22209.

The movement is marked with PXP import code.

As per ranftt website - http://www.ranfft.de/uhr/info-uscode-e.html

This code was meant to be used by Patek.

I read somewhere that Henri Stern, UG importer for the US, also imported or represented UG in US.

Does this means this movement was imported without the watch case, and that it was assembled later?

I believe the watch is correct, but comments much appreciated

    Thanks,

Congrats on your purchase! I always love the 22209 case, your crown and pushers look nice and original too! The pushers especially, are commonly replaced.

UG imported by Henry Stern would normally be stamped 'HOX', never seen a 'PXP' signed on a UG but I wouldn't worry too much about it. And is that a Portuguese import stamp mark on the top left lug?

Can't help with the PXP code but that's a great catch. Congrats, J.

And, yes, the mark on the lug is the portuguese tax stamp

    Hi All,
Just back form SPA, and I couldn't resist to post some pics here.
It's impressive how dial condition is different under light (natural) variation.
I am please with the watch, as although small at 33,5mm, due to big round pusher it seems a little bigger.
    Comments much appreciated.
PS: Import Portuguese tax ding in upper left lug, and movement pic is prior to service.
    Thanks.

Well... it’s very clearly a UG case. Not the first seen sans SN.

Agreed about being a UG case. Never seen this reference before.
