    Caseback is still regular stainless steel? Seriously maybe I can understand PVD treating a 3570.50 but a vintage Speedmaster?

    The dark gray-ish DLC coating looks nice on a Speedmaster, but that PVD coating kinda ruins the lines.

    That's actually not a bad point, Speedmaster crowns do get a hell of a lot of wear being manual wind

    Looks to me like it may have been over polished at some point. There just aren't any sharp edges left. Perhaps that's why it now has this crappy coating, like a beaten up old truck...
