    Hi,

from time to time I see pushers looking like that:

One is showing it's "teeth", the other seems to be OK

    Can someone explain that?

    Thanks, take care

Sometimes the threaded rod that screws into the cap has started to become loose within the threads and it somehow gradually unscrews. So the resting position of the cap moves farther and farther out and you can see more of the tube.

There is a screw inside, which keeps the pusher cap (and its spring!) secured. It usually loosen up, unscrews and you lose both the pusher cap and the spring.

Ask some Tag Heuer Carrera (for ex) owners if they lose pushers sometimes, and ask Tag why they glue the screw inside nowadays ... :D ::facepalm2::

But it's no big issue fixing it?

You have to remove the movement to fix it. Not a big issue for a pro watchmaker, or a talented amateur. :)
