Thank you very much! Appreciate the support I got from all of you. Thrilled to have it on my wrist soon! 😀

Received it! It’s a wonderful-looking piece! I’m so glad I made the switch; this one has so much more personality to my eyes. Very impressed with the good polish. They manage to give a really shiny touch to the watch while keeping all angles sharp to the touch.

Quick question: is there any “best practice” before sizing the watch in terms of which hole to select on the clasp? Is it best to size it with the clasp pin in the middle hole, or place it on the tightest hole and then loosen it during summer when the wrist tends to swell?

.....I’ve bought several watches from Japan in the past ...
Nice find - congrats. My ignorance of additional tariff costs have limited my seeking stateside. What was your recent experience with this purchase from Japan?

Thank you. This is the fifth watch I’ve bought from Japan over a six-year period, and I’ve never had an issue. Sellers there are meticulous about grading condition, shipping is usually very fast, and in my case (I live in Switzerland) duties are straightforward. I typically pay ~10% all-in for import (customs, VAT, and courier processing). Omega and Panerai have a strong presence there, so the secondary market is deep and prices are often notably lower than in Europe, more so than Rolex, whose popular current models (e.g., the Submariner) tend to be similarly priced. That said, you should still do your homework, stick to reputable sellers on Chrono24 or eBay and also trust your guts like in any purchase 😀

Very Nice! For sizing, usually want to start with the hole closest to the clasp hinge (where the bracelet is tucked under the clasp) then move it back towards the center when the wrist swells.

Usually it should fit with space for the little finger of space when first putting it on. Will feel a little loose but that will change as you wear it. In a pinch, a thin paper clip will work to release the spring bar in the clasp for adjustment. Also, when changing holes, pop one side and seat it in the next hole, then do the opposite side even if you're needing two hole difference.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll go that way for the resizing 😀 Yes, I do the same hole by hole change on my 3511.12. I also found that using a toothpick works really well, with zero risk of scratching. 😀

Hello everyone, I got the extra material from the seller, I attach it here. Serial number was a typo and in line with what expected.
I think you got a nice watch. The warranty card says it was sold by Yodobashi Camera’s Shinjuku East Exit “Good Gear” branch in Tokyo.

Thank you! Yes, I believe someone mentioned it before.
It’s a bit of a shame they didn’t write the serial number on the warranty card back then, but they clearly weren’t that picky about these things, judging by how all those cards from 80s and 90s are filled out.

I was going to suggest toothpick, but you already know that😀
