Muy buenas noches a todos, quería saber tu opinión de esta constelación omega y si es auténtica, ya que no he encontrado otro igual en internet para contrastar, sólo existe en acero.

Yes sure, thanks for your help .
You can see the two Geneva seal in the case , but I don't know nothing about this reference number.

It would help if you added all of the pics from the other thread.

14900 was the original reference for a no date dogleg.
These, alongside 14902s, were at one time the most faked Constellation references.

However, the fakes were SS not gold.

Your’s appears to be the 18k Deluxe version with gold dial.
And appears to be the first iteration as it’s a ‘62 1’

The pics are a bit blurry but the case and dial look correct with some polishing to the case.

Not sure why it has additional hallmarks to the rear - are these import marks to another country?

It has a non-Onega replacement crown.

Do you have a movement image with serial number?
IIRC it should be a cal 551 in the 18m range.

Lovely medallion - overall looks like a nice watch.
Have you bought it?
If not, what is the asking price?

Thank you so much for your time , is very especial for me the information.
I bought recently in a auction for 2300 euros , and I gonna enjoy my watch and after maybe put in sale on chrono 24, I send more photos for you investigation.
Also I'm watchmaker and just changed the crown for a pie pan crown.
Wath do you think about the polishing, I think a fine polishing is better for the watches, without damage the case .

you're welcome
€2,300 is a very good price for such a nice watch - congratulations.

The beauty of a dogleg lies in the facets of the case, so regarding polishing - most would recommend not to polish at all - or at most a light rub with a jeweller's cloth.
and the decagonal crown looks much better (BTW it is a crown used on Constellations from the late 50s on lyre-lug and dogleg references - both dome dial and pie-pan)

Congratulations on your knowledge of the subject, I am passionate about this brand and the Constellation model in particular for what it commemorates in terms of scientific advances. As for the polishing, you are absolutely right. I will only remove the scratches and that's it. The beauty of the case lies in the facets, as you rightly point out.
As for the seals, it is very curious and I do not know where it comes from or why it was made. They both seem to be the same and are deep. At first I thought it was a defect or scratch on the case.

I suspect it is this - but don't know why there are two and why they are on a Swiss watch unless it was exported elsewhere then shipped to France

Thanks to both of you for this thread - a beautiful watch from one, education from the other: that's what OF can do!
Wouldn't it be nice if we could still find out where the watch was originally sold to, before it got to France - oh, well...

Very interesting, is exactly the form in the case back, but I don't know anymore , I bought it on Sweden auction.
Many thanks for your text! I'm very happy
