As I was walking back from one of my "watch guys" on Saturday, I passed a store that only sells Herge/Tintin memorabilia and this was in the window:


I know they don't make these rockets any more and thought that someone here might like the idea of owning it. It's ex-display and has a couple of chips to the enamel (one on the bottom, one to the side); it has no box or papers but it's £350 ... and they're usually a hellova lot more. Store's in Nottingham; the owner doesn't want the hassle of shipping it but if you can't make it there I can probably help out arranging shipping. This model is 73cm tall and seemed pretty solid (heavy!).

Anyway, I've got the guy's card somewhere so if you want details just give me a shout. It'll give you somewhere to hang your Tintin when you go to bed.
