As an add-on, looking at his post history, the owner seems to have two watches from his grandfather, which is not listed for sale... the second one looks much nicer to my eyes, but then again, I know just enough to know I have no clue what's what when it comes to Speedy's of this vintage.

 

That could be be 2998-2? with wrong minute/hour/sweep hands.

 

if this is a 2998-2 the bezel is also (very) wrong
