While my foremost love will always be Omega Seamaster's, I've recently begun to collect less expensive pieces for fun, especially those of interesting design.

I'm contemplating a Pryngeps chrono with a Valjoux 7765 mvmt, 36mm gold and stainless case. What really interests me about the piece is the face design however, pale green Arabic numerals in a sort of late 50s French-chic block design, against an off-white (not patina, almost more the color of currency printings) background.

Sorry I'm unable to post images, but while I know the Valjoux is solid, can anyone tell me more about the actual namesake? I know they're Italian but have been unable to locate any remotely similar designs. Values? I'm guessing this design if not the piece itself at circa 1960, but that guess is based on the font alone.
