Do you use stickers to protect the medallions on your watches? Anyone know where I can find these little guys? Do they have a name? I'm not sure where to search for them. Any downside to using the protective stickers (I can't think of anything). Thanks.

I find they are not terribly sticky, so sometimes the edges come up and work their way loose after a while. I would hesitate to use it on backs with paint or enamel (like a newer Speedmaster or a 50's Longines Conquest).

I'm not sure what everyone else does, but I have used 3M Paint Protective film to cover my bracelet clasps before with a lot of success. The stuff sticks on really well, comes off clean, and is very clear such that you can't really tell it is there. I suppose it would work well on case backs also.

Please see my posting in the Watch Accessories area of the forum. I use these stickers to protect the fine engravings and serial numbers on the casebacks of watches that I wear frequently.

I'm happy to send you a couple--my gift to you.
