My apologies if this has been covered before, I did a quick search and didn't see anything..

I've noticed in several pictures of Speedmaster casebacks that people seem to have clear plastic protective covers applied (the kind that come on new electronics screens that can be easily peeled off without leaving a residue).

Is this something that people often do with their Speedmasters to protect the Seamonster engraving on the caseback from wear?

    Thanks!

    Excellent, thank you.

Which size do use? The full 42mm?

Edit: I just measured the caseback, seems to be about 28mm.

Yeah, I was going to say either 28 or 24 mm.. a rough measure will get you what you need.
