Found this while looking around and thought it looked good to my very very untrained eye. Thought I'd see your guys' thoughts on it. If anyone likes it, feel free to go for it, I need to go try on a modern 41mm watch this weekend and see if its too big for my wrist before I think about buying a speedy.

I used this guide posted by a forum member on one of the other threads in my attempt to evaluate the watch.

Thanks guys and hope someone else can benefit from this post besides me.

indeed it looks nice....on the high side for a 74 at the moment, but not by much.

Looks good for a watch you can service, wear, and not worry too much about (save for exposure to water, shock, etc.). But after a service, you're down $2,600-$2,700 for a carefully but well-used example (the ding near 10 seems minor in the pics).
I'm sure these will have their day in the sun someday as collectors dive into minutiae with the 70's Speedy's. But until then, this is a bit much to spend.
Offer $1,900? Question mark, meaning I wonder if that price makes more sense to the experts...
    Good luck!
