I expect that will look very nice. Are you doing it on your living room floor?

@Diabolik Out of curiosity, have you collected all of these parts or was a full watch disassembled for service purposes? If you collected each part, how long did it take you?

Not a cat or dog or a bathroom floor but my old teddy after being flattened following an accident !

No seriously, it spongy mat that is commonly used to stop parts flying off and becoming history. This an old nina reference 885103/02 in pretty good condition with a serial of 2,5 mil. But bummer was the dial which was pretty far gone! Some of you may remember my dilemma, whether to attempt a restore or not!

The watch was all there apart from one register hand and damaged dial. I got my hands on an NOS nina dial or same era thanks to a tip from an OF member

@Diabolik I would imagine a NOS Nina dial would be nearly impossible to find, though I am not well-versed in UG, so I could be wrong. Needless to say, the original dial looks like someone spilled coffee on it and let it sit in place for 30 years.

I am really excited to see the finished example!

I kind of like the old dial. owner lived by the sea so it might explain the aged brownish tint it has taken. bleached by sunshine and sea salt. movement required some work but it is ticking like a train. It must have sat in a draw for most of its life as case, bezel and case back are exceptionally clean!

That's a pity. Anyway you have a very nice watch there and I'm sure your project will be finished very soon. Good Luck...
