Back in the day I think it looked like this...........

    1-world-sarongs-mens-traditional-batik-design-top-quality-sarong_445194.jpg

But then again, maybe more like this.........

    how_to_wrap_tube.jpg

That's actually how I wore mine, a bit finicky to wrap, but once it was on it'd stay there all day.

Wow[emoji15] It never ceases to amaze me when Caucasians speak the language of the Malay archipelago. I'm quite impressed Sir[emoji4]

I lived in Jakarta for three years: I don't speak bahasa well.
Selatah tiga tahun di Jakarta, Saya tidak berbicara bahsasa baik (?)

In my defence it was a while ago.

I was going to buy this, but I thought it would be overkill since I'm preserving my amateur status as a hair-washer (and I'm not a professional blonde, or at least not yet). Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 11.16.40.png

I was going to get all industrious and have Mrs. noelekal take a photo of me bending my thumb backward to touch my Speedmaster on my wrist, but then discovered that it's been some years since I've done that trick. Thumb will not bend that far any more.

Don't even have a proper professional double-jointed thumbs any more. :(

Really? I don't know the MacGyverette hotline. Please PM it to me at your leisure. :D

Also, please PM me the Cliff's Notes regarding how to jack your thumb back like that (I don't have time for years of academy training)...as you can see pictured below, I'm very lacking regarding thumb jacking. :(

Mad Dog feels an affinity with her because she's wearing very similar glasses as his.

Yes, two well formed ovals appeal to his sense of symmetry.

Professional means it won't fail you, especially in a life and death situation. Can't swim? Never mind, your watch is Professional, you have nothing to fear. Can't drive ? Not a problem, stap your Daytona or Speedmaster on, you're in safe hands so you can chill and enjoy the moment.

Won't work if you got them mixed though, like diving with a Speedmaster or speeding with a Seamaster. Not good. Not professional.

PROFESSIONAL ... that was part of the 60ies watch bullshit bingo ... SUPERLATIVE was another ...:D

But compared to the 2010+ watches with 6-8 lines of text ... that is still rather amateur...

But then again, watches grow bigger and bigger and without all the fancy phrases, the huge dials would look more boring than a map of Nevada

That may be, but it's the Dunkin' Donuts coffee she's holding in her hidden left hand that was the real draw for him.

Brilliant! I cant say I envisioned this thread going this way, but it is bloody awesome.

While on topic of donuts, forget Timmies and Dunkin'. You havent had a donut till you tried Duffin's Donuts! Where else can you by a kick ass donut, torta sub, noodle soup and Chinese food all in one place???

Unfortunately for most here, there is only one location (Vancouver, BC) Fortunately for me, it is less than 10 min drive :D

Quite a story on owners, and how they opened up this place.

That all sounds great (not being sarcastic, it does) but have you ever had a hot-off-the-line Krispy Kreme?
